1 patient was transported to the hospital following a late morning crash on Route 50 Westbound ... Just East of Walston Switch Rd. Station 6 Fire & EMS crews arrived to find a passenger car that had Rear-End a rollback in the slow lane. The driver of the car was treated and transported by Paramedic A6 while the driver of the tow truck denied any injuries. After assisting the EMS crew, personnel from Rescue Engine 604 cleaned up the vehicle fluids that had leaked from the car due to the damage received. Traffic 6 was also on Scene with Fire Police and diverted traffic to the left shoulder while crews worked. Once the spill was cleaned up, the scene was transferred to MSP and Fire units cleared.
