An afternoon crash resulted in 3 patients being transported to the hospital. At about 1240 this afternoon, Parsonsburg Fire & EMS units were alerted to respond to an MVC with injuries at the intersection of Zion Church Road and Morris Leonard Road. Responders arrived to find a 2 vehicle MVC with a total of 3 patients. Both Parsonsburg Paramedic units arrived and treated the patients and transported all to PRMC. The crew of Rescue Engine 604 assisted with patient care and then turned their attention to cleaning up debris. Station 6 Fire Police handled traffic control while the road was closed for clean-up and vehicle removal. Wicomico County Sheriff's Department was also on scene to handle the investigation.
