MVC With Rescue
Intersection of Morris Leonard Rd & Walston Switch Rd.
At 1137 hrs, Sta.6 was alerted for an MVC at Walston Switch Rd. & Ocean Gtwy. Within seconds, Central alerted another MVC with Entrapment at Morris Leonard & Walston Switch Rd. While enroute to the station for the first call, 615 (Chief White) came upon the rescue, upon assessment of the accident, he confirmed a working rescue. 617 (Asst. Chief Tyler)......

2008 Fire/EMS Safety, Health, & Survival Week Drill
Held At Wor-Wic Community College
On Thursday night, several members traveled over to Wor-Wic Community College to take part in a drill during the 2008 Fire/EMS Safety, Health, & Survival Week. The drill concentrated on Roadway Safety. Members first viewed a video and discussed appropriate Emergency Vehicle Operations and then we watched a video about Operating at incidents on the roadway.......

Parsonsburg Members Attend
Sussex County Paramedic's Funeral
It was not only a sad day in Sussex County when one of their own Paramedics died in the line of duty, but for the entire, Fire / EMS Family.
Members of the Parsonsburg Vol. Fire Co. attended the funeral for Paramedic Stephanie Calloway in Georgetown, DE. Departments from Boston EMS down to North Carolina were present.

Parsonsburg Takes 3 Trophies at MSFA Convention Parade
Ocean City, MD
The 116th Annual Maryland State Fireman's Association Convention Parade was held today in Ocean City, MD. Fire Apparatus from throughout Maryland and surrounding states participated. Many awards are given out for the event. This year, Parsonsburg was well represented by Ambulance A6, Command 6 pulling the Special Ops Trailer, Engine 607, and Rescue......

Live Burn Evolutions
Walston Switch Road
On the evening of June 09, 2008, the Parsonsburg Fire Company hosted a drill with live burn evolutions. The acquired house was located on Walston Switch Rd near Wor Wic Community College. Firefighters from Pittsville, Powellville, Salisbury Sta.1, & Delmar participated in the training with us, which concentrated on fire behavior and extinguishment.......

Is Closer To Reality!
For many years, the Parsonsburg VFC has been wanting and needing a new firehouse and we are finally closer than ever before. The land has been acquired and mostly cleared and we have a basic design for the building. Please support us with this huge project.
