On March 5th, 2020, Maryland's Public Health Laboratory confirmed three positive cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Montgomery County. The patients, who contracted the virus while traveling overseas, are in good condition and are in quarantine at their homes.

This is not a reason to over react, rather take precautions to ensure you and your family know how to avoid a potential exposure. Two key strategies to the spread of any illness, including the coronavirus, are frequent hand washing and avoiding touching your face.
