Roof Collapse Ignites Fire
32158 Downing Rd
After another round of heavy snowfall, a chicken house roof collapsed and the heaters inside started a fire. At 1625 Hrs, Central alerted Stations 6, 74 (Delmar), & 7 (Pittsville) for a structure fire. Units went on scene with a small fire but had extreme difficulty accessing it due to deep snow drifts. An early morning collision occurred between an MSP Trooper and a Perdue feed truck. Station 6 was assisted by Engine 1 (Salisbury FD). Crews were on scene for extensive fluid clean-up. Chief White (615) had command.

Old Ocean City Rd & Hobbs Rd
At 1602 Hrs, Station 6 Fire & EMS units were sent to a 2 vehicle collision at Hobbs Rd and MD Rt 346. Upon arrival, crews found a pick-up pulling a utility trailer and an SUV had crashed. Rt50 Eastbound and Walston Switch RD
Station 6 Fire & EMS units were dispatched at 2013 Hrs for an MVC at Eastbound Rt50 and Walston Switch Rd.
