Car Vs. Pole
32600 Block of Old Ocean City Rd.
Station 6 was alerted for an MVC on Old Ocean City Rd Friday evening. Responding units were advised of a car into a pole with wires down and the driver leaving the scene. Units arrived to find the situation as reported. Crews assessed the driver at his residence near the scene and transported priority 3 to PRMC in Salisbury. Fire Units & Fire Police......

Parsonsburg Firefighters Conduct Gas Emergency Training
With Chesapeake Utilities
Deputy Chief Rickards organized the annual gas emergency class conducted by Chesapeake Utilities. The training was held at Station 6 where members completed classroom and practical instruction. Special Ops Members Conduct High Angle Training
At Perdue
Several members attended the High Angle Special Ops drill held at the Perdue Grain Facility on Zion Church Road. Rescuers practiced rigging up off of the water tower to lower an unconscious worker.

Roof Collapse Ignites Fire
32158 Downing Rd
After another round of heavy snowfall, a chicken house roof collapsed and the heaters inside started a fire. At 1625 Hrs, Central alerted Stations 6, 74 (Delmar), & 7 (Pittsville) for a structure fire. Units went on scene with a small fire but had extreme difficulty accessing it due to deep snow drifts.
