Groundbreaking
For Our New Firehouse
On Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 2:00pm the Officers & Members of the Parsonsburg Vol. Fire Company, Inc. joined community members for an official groundbreaking ceremony of the new fire house. The new firehouse construction will begin on Monday and is expected to last only 9 months.
The current firehouse that houses the Parsonsburg Fire Company......

MVC At
Walston Switch Rd & Mt Hermon Rd
Station 6 units were alerted to respond to the intersection of Walston Switch and Mt Hermon Roads for an MVC. Units arrived to find a "T-Bone" type collision. Parsonsburg EMS transported one Priority 3 patient to PRMC.

Tanker 608 Assists MFRI With The Annual ARFF Training
At The Salisbury-Ocean City-Wicomico Regional Airport
MFRI requested assistance with the annual ARFF training at the Airport. All ARFF Team members were required to operate ARFF 1 and flow water. T608 was utilized to refill the ARFF truck between evolutions.

Reported Car Fire
On Grenada Drive
Late in the afternoon, Sta.6 was alerted for a possible car fire on Grenada Dr. RE604 arrived with nothing evident. The crew investigated to find a small electrical fire in the engine compartment. 618 (Capt. L. Tyler) had command.
