Reported Vehicle Fire On
Westbound Ocean Gateway at Forest Grove Road

Parsonsburg Units responded to a reported car fire at Rt50 & Forest Grove Rd. Units arrived to find a small fire in the driver side front wheel area. The fire was quickly put out and units remained on scene awaiting the arrival of MSP.

Vehicle On Its Side
On Dagsboro Road

Just before noon, Stations 6 & 7 were alerted for a MVC with entrapment in the S Curves on Dagsboro Road. Units arrived on scene to find a minivan on its side with 1 patient out and 1 patient still inside but not trapped. Rescue Engine 604 arrived and used cribbing and struts to stabelize the van and then removed the patent through the rear......

On Saturday March 03, 2012, the Parsonsburg Fire Company Auxilliary held their first Cornhole Tournament & Chili Cook off.  Thanks to rain, the event had to be held inside the station. There was a great turnout and we appreciate the support.

2 Houses Destroyed By Fire This Morning
In Pittsville's 1st Due
Shortly after 0200 hrs, Station 6 was alerted for Tanker 608 to assist Stations 7, 8, & 79 with a fully involved house fire at 35475 East Line Road. At the same time, an engine was requested from Station 6 to transfer to Station 7 for coverup. Minutes after Tanker 608 & Engine 605 hit the street, Wicomico Central alerted another house fire on Tingle......

Station 6 Units Respond To A Reported Natural Cover Fire
On Bob Smith Road Near Dagsboro Road
Soon after returning from the MVC on Morris Leonard Rd, Station 6 was alerted for a Natural Cover fire. Units arrived to find a debris pile well involved. Personnel extiingished the fire and overhaul the pile. Lt. Cody Grosch had command.

Slippery Road Leads To Accident
On Morris Leonard Road
At around 1445 hrs a westbound motorist lost control of his pickup, ran off the road and rolled in a field on Morris Leonard Road about a 1/2 mile East of Holt Road. Rain in the area had caused slippery road conditions. The driver was the only occupant in the vehicle and was transported priority 2 to PRMC in Salisbury. Crews assisted with patient loading......
