Structure fire Esham Road

Wednesday, August 6, 2025
On Wednesday, just after lunch, Central began receiving multiple calls for a structure fire in the 8100-blk of Esham Road. Tanker 6 and Paramedic B6 responded. Due to limited staffing and a column of smoke from the firehouse, Engine 11 was requested to be added to the box. Tanker 6 arrived on location and found a 12x12 shed fully involved with exposures. Tanker 6 accessed a dirt lane next to the residence and placed a line in service. Salisbury Truck 2 arrived and 20B (Lt. Bond) establishing the Esham Road command. Pittsville Engine 7 arrived and placed a second line in service. The crews from TR2, E7 and ET802 completed fire suppression and overhaul. ET802 and Tanker 8 supplied water to the fireground. Command placed ET703 in service and transferred E11 to Station 7 for a regional transfer.

Structure Fire in Salisbury

Thursday, July 31, 2025
On July 31st at 19:23 hours, Central dispatched fire box 1-5, reporting a house on fire, on Camellia Road, bringing Engine Tanker 6 as the 4th due Engine. ET6 responded with a crew of 3 with the Chief. While enroute, units were reporting fire in the basement and AC1 requested the Working Fire Dispatch. Upon arrival, ET6 picked up the supply line from Engine 16 at the intersection and the crew assisted on the fireground. Units were on scene for a short time before returning back to Parsonsburg

Engine Tanker handles a Commerical AFA

On Friday afternoon, Engine Tanker 6 staffed with a crew of 3, were dispatched to a Commercial Fire Alarm on Shavox Road. Engine Tanker 6 and Paramedic A6 responded in less than a minute. Units arrived on location with nothing evident from all 4 sides of a one story church, Firefighter Sinclair establishing Shavox Road command. Crews investigated the alarm and found it to be a faulty detector. Situation was placed under control and units went available shortly after

Parsonsburg units handle an appliance fire

Tuesday, July 22, 2025
On July 22nd, just before 09:30, Central dispatched units to the 32000 block of Johnson Road for an appliance fire. Engine Tanker 6 responded with a crew of 4 at 09:31 hours. Engine Tanker 6 arrived on location with nothing evident from all 4 sides of a one story, single family residence, Chief 6 established the Johnson Road command. Crews found a culinary mishap contained to the oven. Tanker 6, Traffic 6, Ambulance A6, and Deputy Chief 6 also responded. Command released the units after a short time.

Rescue Engine, Traffic and Ambulance run Early morning MVC

Saturday, July 19, 2025
Just before 04:00, Central dispatched Station 6 & Station 7 for the additional Engine for blocking for a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Westbound Ocean Gateway near Parsonsburg Road. Rescue Engine 6 with Chief and 2 and Traffic 6 with 2 responded. Paramedic B6 and Rescue 7 arrived on location to find a 2 vehicle MVC. Rescue 7 shut down the highway due to vehicles involved being on both sides of the road. Paramedic B6 transported one patient to the hospital and Willards Paramedic B8 obtained a patient refusal. Once the road was clear, Command opened the fast lane of travel. Command was terminated and all units available at 04:54 hours

Tanker runs house fire in Fruitland

Thursday, July 17, 2025
At 00:35 hours, Central alerted Tanker 6 for fire box 3-2, a house on fire, on Saint Lukes Road in Fruitland. Fruitland units had arrived on scene to find a house fully involved and requesting additional tankers, bringing Tanker 6 to the scene. Parsonsburg units operated for approximately 45 minutes before returning

Engine Tanker, Rescue & Tanker run commercial building fire in Salisbury

Sunday, July 13, 2025
At 16:10 hours, Central dispatched fire box 1-2, a commercial building fire at the Perdue office on Old Ocean City Road, bringing Engine Tanker 6 as the 3rd due Engine. Engine Tanker 6 responded quickly with a crew of 3. Engine Tanker 6 arrived as the second due Engine, behind Salisbury Engine 1 and Truck 2. The crew was assigned to assist Engine 1 on the interior. Crews found the issue to be an HVAC unit on the roof. Rescue Engine 6 and Tanker 6 arrived and staged in the parking lot. The incident was quickly reduced and the units returned back to Parsonsburg

Rescue Engine handles a tree in the road

Thursday, July 10, 2025
On July 10th, at 09:14 hours, Central dispatched Station 6 for a tree across the road on Twilleys Bridge Road. Rescue Engine 6 responded with Deputy Chief 6 and 3. Upon arrival, found a tree completely across the road. Crews made quick work of removing the tree from the road and requested County Roads to respond to remove the remainder of the tree. Rescue Engine, Traffic and Ambulance for the overturned tractor trailer

Monday, July 7, 2025
At 14:38 hours, Central dispatched Station 6 for a motor vehicle accident with injuries, tractor trailer rollover, in the 31000 block of Old Ocean City Road. Rescue Engine 6 with Deputy and 2, Traffic 6 with 2 and Paramedic B6 responded. Upon arrival, found one tractor trailer on its side off the road. Salisbury Tower 16 also responded. All units cleared the scene and turned over to MSP

Brush & Tanker assist Delmar with an outside fire

Sunday, May 25, 2025
On May 25th, at 21:09 hours, Central dispatched Tanker 6 for local box 74-9, Tanker assist Delmar with an outside fire in the 32000 block of Melson Road. Tanker 6 responded with 2 just after dispatch. Brush 6 also responded with Deputy and 3. Tanker 6 assisted with water supply. Both units were released a short time later by command and returned to quarters
