On Thursday, May 10, 2007 Mr. John Bartow from the Maryland Institute Emergency Medical Services (M.I.E.M.S.S) came to inspect our EMS/Fire Units. Two of our Paramedic Units received the ALS Seal of Excellence and our EMS Chase unit as well as our Rescue Engine received the BLS Seal of Excellence Award. Members of the EMS Committee worked many hours to ensure that our equipment met the standards to receive the Seal of Excellence. The Officers & Members of our Department would like to thank Captain Jarod Cooper and all those who assisted in this time consuming responsibility!
