On the evening of June 09, 2008, the Parsonsburg Fire Company hosted a drill with live burn evolutions. The acquired house was located on Walston Switch Rd near Wor Wic Community College. Firefighters from Pittsville, Powellville, Salisbury Sta.1, & Delmar participated in the training with us, which concentrated on fire behavior and extinguishment. The drill was conducted under the guidelines of NFPA 1403. Once the evolutions were completed, the house was burned down (which took a while to get going).
