On April 24, 2025, just after 1pm, Station 6 was dispatched for a conveyor belt on fire at Perdue Grain on Zion Church Road. Paramedic B6 was in the area and reported smoke showing from the top of the grain bins. Engine Tanker 6 and Brush 6 responded. While responding, Brush 6 requested a Truck Company from Station 7. Upon arrival, units found smoke coming from the top of one bin. The crew from Truck 7 stretched a line from Engine Tanker 6 to the top of the bin for suppression. Due to the height and angle of the bins, Sharptown Truck 14 was requested to respond to check the remaining grain bins that were connected to the conveyor belt. Engine 707 arrived and laid supply line from the hydrant to Engine Tanker 6. Truck 14 and Engine Tanker 14 arrived on location and checked the remaining bins and found no fire. Situation was placed under control at 14:39 hours. All units cleared the scene at 15:36 hours. Willards Engine Tanker 802 and Delmar Truck 74 transferred to Station 6 while units operated
