On Wednesday, just after lunch, Central began receiving multiple calls for a structure fire in the 8100-blk of Esham Road. Tanker 6 and Paramedic B6 responded. Due to limited staffing and a column of smoke from the firehouse, Engine 11 was requested to be added to the box. Tanker 6 arrived on location and found a 12x12 shed fully involved with exposures. Tanker 6 accessed a dirt lane next to the residence and placed a line in service. Salisbury Truck 2 arrived and 20B (Lt. Bond) establishing the Esham Road command. Pittsville Engine 7 arrived and placed a second line in service. The crews from TR2, E7 and ET802 completed fire suppression and overhaul. ET802 and Tanker 8 supplied water to the fireground. Command placed ET703 in service and transferred E11 to Station 7 for a regional transfer.
